Why we built it
The apps most people know are built to keep you playing. The longer you swipe, the more they earn. So the good matches get held back, the resented paywalls pile up, and the thing you actually wanted — to meet someone real — keeps slipping further away.
We think that's backwards. A dating app should be honest about how it makes money, and it should make money by being good, not by keeping you stuck. So we made a simple choice: the core of Lovio is free and genuinely complete — the deck, your matches, your conversations, and every person who likes you, unblurred. We charge a fair, flat price for a few extras, and nothing more.
That's the whole model. We do well when you do well. When you meet someone and leave, that's not a lost customer to us — that's the point.
